This Submission Checklist is designed to ensure that authors have met all the requirements of Section IX of the Academy of Romanian Scientists and the specific focus of the Journal of Knowledge Dynamics.

Authors should verify each point before submitting their manuscript to the portal to avoid administrative rejection.

Author Submission Checklist
1. Scope and Content Alignment

  • [ ] Core Theme: Does the manuscript directly address Knowledge Management, Transfer, or Transformation?
  • [ ] Technological Context: If the paper covers “hot topics,” does it integrate AI, Digitalization, or New Technology?
  • [ ] Scientific Contribution: Does the paper present novel theoretical or experimental findings (not just a summary of existing work)?

2. Manuscript Formatting & Files

  • [ ] Blind Review Readiness: Have all author names, affiliations, and identifying metadata been removed from the main manuscript file?
  • [ ] Title Page (Separate): Is there a separate title page containing author names, affiliations, ORCID iDs, and the corresponding author’s contact details?
  • [ ] Abstract: Is there a concise abstract (typically 150–250 words) and 3–5 relevant keywords?
  • [ ] Language: Has the manuscript been proofread for professional academic English?

3. Ethical Disclosures (Required Sections)

  • [ ] CRediT Statement: Have you included a section detailing the specific roles of each author?
  • [ ] AI Disclosure: If Generative AI was used for writing or data analysis, is this explicitly disclosed? (If not used, no statement is needed).
  • [ ] Conflicts of Interest: Is there a statement declaring any financial or personal conflicts, or stating “The authors declare no conflict of interest”?
  • [ ] Data Availability: Have you included a statement regarding where the research data can be accessed?
  • [ ] Originality: Do you confirm that this work is not currently under consideration by any other journal?

4. Technical Integrity

  • [ ] Plagiarism Check: Have you self-screened the paper to ensure all external ideas are properly cited to avoid self-plagiarism or accidental overlap?
  • [ ] References: Are all citations in the text listed in the reference section, and do they follow the journal’s style guide?
  • [ ] Images/Tables: Are all figures and tables high-resolution, numbered, and mentioned in the text?

5 Final Confirmation

  • [ ] No Fees: I understand that JKD is a Diamond Open Access journal and there are no charges for submission or publication (No APCs).
  • [ ] Copyright: I understand that as an author, I will retain the copyright of my published work.
