The Journal of Knowledge Dynamics (JKD) is a peer-reviewed, Open Access publication issued by Section IX: Economics, Law, and Sociological Sciences of the Academy of Romanian Scientists (ARS). The journal serves as an international forum for researchers to explore the multi-faceted nature of knowledge as it evolves within modern society.
Core Focus: The Dynamics of Knowledge
The journal is dedicated to understanding how knowledge is created, enhanced, transformed, and modified. We strongly encourage theoretical and/or empirical submissions that focus on:
- Knowledge Management (KM): Strategies for identifying, capturing, and leveraging intellectual assets.
- Knowledge Transfer: The flow of information between individuals, organizations, and sectors.
- Knowledge Transformations: How information evolves into actionable insight and the resulting impact on socio-economic structures.
The journal aims to publish original, scientifically rigorous content that contributes to modern academic discourse. It prioritizes:
- Novelty & Accuracy: Only papers with original findings and correct methodologies are considered.
- Theoretical & Experimental Depth: Contributions that advance theoretical frameworks or provide robust experimental data on contemporary issues.
- Knowledge Exchange: The journal welcomes recent developments in Knowledge Management—particularly in the form of meta-analyses, empirical studies and systematic literature reviews—to provide the global community with timely, high-level insights into the field’s trajectory.
Rigorous Review & Academic Integrity
To maintain the highest scientific standards, all submissions undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process. This ensures that every published article—from theoretical contributions to experimental studies—is evaluated solely on its merit, novelty, and accuracy. We maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding plagiarism, utilizing industry-standard software such as Turnitin to protect the integrity of the scientific record.
In alignment with these standards, all submissions must include the following:
- Originality Statement: A formal disclosure confirming that the manuscript is original, has not been published elsewhere, and is not currently under consideration by another journal.
- AI Disclosure Statement: A transparent declaration regarding the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) or Large Language Models (LLMs) in the research process or manuscript drafting, specifying the extent of their application.
- Authorship & Acknowledgement Statement: A declaration ensuring that all individuals who have made significant contributions to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the study are listed as co-authors. Any other contributors who do not meet the criteria for authorship (such as technical assistants or department heads) should be recognized in an “Acknowledgements” section.
Hot Topics: Knowledge in the Digital Age
The journal prioritizes “hot topics” that intersect Knowledge Management with Artificial Intelligence (AI), Digitalization, and New Technologies. We seek research that explores how these tools reshape human understanding and organizational efficiency.
Examples of welcomed topics include:
- AI-Driven Knowledge Discovery: Using machine learning to extract insights from Big Data.
- Digital Transformation: The impact of cloud computing and IoT on knowledge sharing.
- Human-AI Collaboration: Knowledge transfer processes between human experts and autonomous systems.
- Blockchain for Knowledge Security: Leveraging decentralized ledgers for intellectual property and accounting.
- Ethical AI in Management: The legal and sociological implications of automated decision-making.
- Digitalization of Economic Policy: How tech-driven knowledge impacts financial crisis management and global strategies.
- Intellectual Capital & Organizational Learning: Cultivating “Communities of Practice” and leveraging digital transformation to ensure the right information reaches the right person at the right time.
- Economic Strategies: Data-Driven Policy & Knowledge Economies: Analyzing how competitive advantage is maintained through the management of “Information Sovereignty” and global knowledge transfer protocols.
- Economic & Financial Crises – Knowledge Retrieval & Risk Intelligence: Developing “Lessons Learned” repositories and predictive modeling to turn crisis-data into actionable institutional wisdom by learning from past failures to build resilience.
Financial Transparency & Intangible Asset Valuation: Transitioning from static ledger keeping to dynamic systems that track the ROI of human capital and intellectual property.
