The author employs an interdisciplinary approach – situated at the intersection of ethnology, history, and linguistics – highlighting elements of cultural continuity that transcend the pre-Christian North-Danubian era. This research methodology is further enhanced by a distinct stylistic expressiveness. Through the studies of researcher Ion Tița-Nicolescu, this work explores the phenomenon of indigenous religious syncretism. Within this framework, Orthodox Christianity is analysed as a perfecting factor of archaic customs, in accordance with the philosophical paradigm of Ernest Bernea.
