PROCEDURES FOR COMPRESSION OF DIVERS

Mircea DEGERATU1, Sergiu IONIȚĂ2

Abstract. The compression of diver is materialized by hyperbaric processes that occur while the diver is pressurized or descending to the working depth. In the case of unitary dives, the time required for compression (descent to the working depth ) is added to the total duration of the dive and is taken into account when determining the procedure for returning to atmospheric pressure. For this reason, for bounce dives, the speed of compression (descent into the immersion) is important and should be as high as possible.
