Abstract. This paper explores the combined role of Total Quality Management (TQM), Lean Management, and Kaizen in improving organizational performance in knowledge-based environments. In contexts marked by economic uncertainty, digital transformation, and increasing complexity, isolated improvement initiatives tend to produce limited and unstable results. Using a conceptual analysis grounded in recent literature, the paper examines how TQM, Lean, and Kaizen operate as complementary elements within a shared quality framework. TQM provides strategic orientation, cultural coherence, and a basis for data-informed decision-making. Lean Management focuses on the optimization of value flows and the reduction of both material and cognitive waste. Kaizen supports the continuity of improvement through employee involvement and organizational learning. The analysis shows that their integration enhances adaptability, learning capacity, and performance stability, particularly in organizations where information and intellectual capital are central resources. Rather than treating quality as a set of tools, the paper argues for an integrated approach in which improvement becomes part of everyday organizational practice.
