Abstract: In this paper we have shown that if h (D) and T( ) is the Toeplitz operator with symbol de ned on the weighted Bergman space L2 a(dA ) and if the set T( ) T( )f T( ) fT( )f f is linearly dependent for all f L2 a(dA ) then either is a constant function or there exists C such that is a real-valued function in h (D). Here h (D) is the set of all bounded harmonic functions on the open unit disk D. MSC: 47B38, 47B32
