INFORMATION FOR AUTHORS

Open Access Statement

All articles within Annals – Series on Military Sciences are available online to all users immediately upon publication. Non-commercial use and distribution in any medium is permitted, provided the author and the journal are properly credited. Open access aims to maximize the visibility of research and differs from free online access as it provides reuse rights provided full attribution is given [under the terms of the  Creative Commons License license].

The journal allow readers to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of its articles and allow readers to use them for any other lawful purpose.

Transfer of copyright

The transfer of copyright from author to publisher enable Annals – Series on Military Sciences to assure maximum dissemination of the author’s work and it is therefore the default option for each manuscript submission.

When the article is accepted for publication, the author(s) agrees to transfer to Annals – Series on Military Sciences all rights, including those pertaining to electronic forms and transmissions, under existing copyright laws, except for the following, which the author(s) specifically retain(s):

1.The right to make further copies of all or part of the published article for use in classroom teaching;
2. The right to reuse all or part of this material in a compilation or textbook of which he(she) is the author;

3.The right to make copies of the published work for internal distribution within the institution that employs the author.

Charges

There is no article-processing charge [APC] for publishing and/or reviewing in the Annals – Series on Military Sciences

Submitting manuscripts in electronic form

Papers presenting theoretical and/or experimental contribution concerning up-to-date research are strongly encouraged. Book reviews are also accepted.

The preferred language for papers is English [both UK and US spelling are permitted, provided that the spelling is consistent throughout the paper].

All submitted manuscripts should be as concise as possible and should include an even number of pages. Papers whose length exceeds 12 pages are discouraged. The software used to produce your document should be Word for Windows.

The format of the document is A4 [21 cm x 29.7 cm]. The settings for the mirror of the page are:

  •  4.7 cm 
  • Bottom 4.7 cm
  • Left 3.5 cm
  • Right 3.5 cm

Please use Times New Roman font, size 12 for the main text and size 10 for the figures and tables.

The text will include the following sequence of parts:

  • Title
  • Name[s] of author[s]and author’s affiliation
  • Abstract[not more than 100 words, both in Romanian and English]
  • The main text[authors must arrange the subject matter under headings: Introduction, Experimental details, Results, Conclusions …, in bold].
  • Referencesshould be listed at the article’s end, and numbered in the order of their appearance in the text. Use numerals in square brackets to cite references. Footnotes should not include bibliographic material.
  • All line drawingsand photos should be in grey scale.
  • Equations, tables, illustrationswill be positioned within the paragraphs.

The whole responsibility for the accuracy of the calculations, experimental data and scientific interpretations, as well as for the accuracy of the English text belongs entirely to the author[s].

Submission of the manuscript implies that it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.

All papers must specify the name, phone number and e-mail address of the author to whom proofs should be sent. This author is responsible for informing all co-authors that the manuscript has been submitted for this series.

The articles would be submitted by the authors both in Romanian and English version.

The authors take full responsibility for the contents and scientific correctness of the paper.
